The abstract for my talk "On the Road to Damascus" which I will be presenting to the Australian Academy of Forensic Sciences in Sydney on the evening of 20 August 2014 can be found here

I will be talking about my atypical policing career which saw me traverse the country and my work in corruption prevention and investigation, as well as, now, more recently, miscarriages of justice matters. I will also be talking about the contribution of forensic science and expert evidence to proven miscarriage of justice cases. Thanks to those who have already advised me that they will be attending the event.

I will unfortunately miss the rally for Sue Neill-Fraser which will be held on Parliament House lawns in Hobart at 1 pm on that very day. 20 August 2014 marks five years for Sue Neill-Fraser in prison and 5 years since she was arrested and charged by Tasmania Police with Bob Chappell's murder. She spent 13 months in prison prior to the commencement of her trial as she was refused bail.
