Rally for Sue Neill-Fraser this Saturday 20 June 2015 on Parliament House Lawns in Hobart - "Songs for Sue" - National Interest in Case Growing

The Grand Jury band from Melbourne will be playing "Songs for Sue" live on Parliament House lawns in Hobart this Saturday 20 June 2015. Sue will have been in gaol 6 years in August 2015 (as she was not granted bail prior to  her 2010 trial). See the Tasmanian Times coverage  regarding the rally here: http://tasmaniantimes.com/index.php?/weblog/article/when-will-justice-be-done/ and The Mercury coverage here: http://www.themercury.com.au/news/tasmania/neill-fraser-supporters-to-hold-rally-as-information-reward-increased/story-fnj4f7k1-1227401124348

Speakers for Saturday include the Shadow Attorney-General, the Hon. Lara Giddings, local barrister Greg Barns and Melbourne barrister and former Member of Parliament, David O'Brien (who is also a member of the band).

There is growing national interest in Sue's case. The highly respected Australian Women's Weekly will feature her story in the July edition, which is due out any day now. There is other high profile national media coverage to follow.

Eve Ash and I will be addressing a criminal lawyers conference in Bali next week on the case. The audience will include lawyers, academics and Judges. I am also addressing an international forensic science and law conference at Adelaide University next month.

The reward for significant information on the matter leading to Sue's release has also been increased from $30k to $40k.

We are hoping that the further right to appeal legislation will be introduced as soon as possible to enable the matter to be taken back before the courts.
